EOHHS – Order Process / Workflow

  1. Customer provides blueprints, furniture plan, user counts (and other ancillary information) to TechChoice (Paul Storella).
    1. Is this NEW or EXISTING (if existing, we need current AP placement)

  1. TechChoice (Paul Storella) schedules call with EOHHS to review requirements to Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell)
    1. Address Information
    2. Contact Information
    3. Timeframes
    4. Windstream cabling?
    5. If SD-WAN
      1. Circuit types
      2. Circuit bandwidth
      3. Circuit carriers
    6. If NaaS, move to nest step

  1. TechChoice (Paul Storella) & Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) confirm and approve technical requirements spreadsheet.

  1. Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) sends requirements to Windstream Pro Services (Jesse Hunton).

  1. Windstream Pro Services (Jesse Hunton) schedules the initial site survey – requires at least 5 business day’s advance scheduling.
    1. Qty of AP’s
    2. Qty of Cable Runs
      1. Length
      2. Difficulty
      3. Any additional IDF needs?
    3. Any additional LAN requirements

  1. Windstream Pro Services (Jesse Hunton) create a Professional Services Quote.

Includes

  1. Heat Map identifying qty and placement of AP’s
  2. Statement of Work for cabling and LAN Requirements

  1. Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) send Heat Map and Plan to TechChoice (Paul Storella).

  1. TechChoice (Paul Storella) & Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) & Windstream PM (Andrew Farnan) review Project with EOHHS for approval.
    1. Heat Map
    2. SOW
    3. Technical Requirements (including cables)
    4. Timeframes
    5. EOHHS approves project to move forward

  1. Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) creates the Windstream Quote & CNS Form.

  1. Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) sends CNS Form to TechChoice (Paul Storella).

  1. TechChoice (Paul Storella) sends CNS to EOHHS IT Contact (Jeff Martineau) via DocuSign for 1st approval.

  1. TechChoice (Paul Storella) sends CNS to EOHHS site contact for signature via DocuSign.

  1. TechChoice (Paul Storella) & Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) receive signed DocuSign CNS from EOHHS.

  1. Windstream AM (Greg Thorsell) submits the order in WinForce.

  1. Windstream Project Manager (Andrew Farnan) assigned.
    1. Confirm implementation timeline – Network connectivity is ordered
    2. Materials are ordered, network connection is installed/verified, and technician scheduled.

  1. Implementation / Activation Scheduled
    1. Work includes AP placement, switch installation, any additional cabling if approved, and service activation with Windstream SAT team

  1. Burn-in and end user confirmation
    1. 60-90 days in identify any gaps in coverage and understand if that is due to AP placement, or need for an additional AP’s.
