How Can We Help?
Process to obtain TSP service
Telecommunications Service Priority (TSP) is a program that authorizes national security and emergency preparedness (NS/EP) organizations to receive priority treatment for vital voice and data circuits or other telecommunications services. Windstream cannot initiate TSP process. Customers need to apply directly through Homeland Security for approval. Once granted a code you can provide this to Windstream and we will place an order to add the TSP code to the circuits.
Please note: Homeland Security will be the one to determine if your circuits do qualify for TSP or not.
You will want to contact Homeland Security to apply for Restoration TSP (for priority restoration if the circuit goes down).
Here is the website that has all the information for the customer along with contacts: http://www.dhs.gov/telecommunications-service-priority-tsp
Process to obtain TSP service for customer circuits:
The customer must obtain an DHS authorization code for the circuits to be prioritized. The customer goes to DHS website (http://www.dhs.gov/telecommunications-service-priority-tsp) and requests TSP (SF315) authorization form.
The Customer completes the form and submits request to the DHS.
Once the customer receives the authorization codes from DHS, the customer needs to send a copy to their Windstream Customer Success Manager to process the order.
